Actually, I've never seen that before, but I'm guessing I would have liked it. When did it come out?

1979 - Mattel. He was only manufactured for a very short time, and was sold mainly via the Sears Wishbook. (And clearanced shortly after, meh. )

A few collectors that I have spoken with speculate that due to tooling costs and 'loss risk' that only a few thousand were made - Always makes me wonder how many have 'survived'....
(Much like Gre-Gory who was released at the same time...)

I own three but am always wanting more!!

I found Krusher at Zayre's. Later on he was traded away for the shogun warrior Mazinga

I remember getting him for Christmas. Had him for years. I never knew he was rare as you could find him everywhere in my area. There was a Krusher commercial I tried to find it on you tube but couldn't. Now I wish i had kept him!! and in good condition cause I destroyed mine!

I don't think he made it to Canada, at least not in any quantity.

None in Canada? Huh, I hadnt heard that.

As for the commercial, are you SURE? I have scoured for information on the Krusher for some time now - I have never heard of a commercial -??

Was it maybe like a local spot like those 'Crazy Eddie' commercials out of NYC in the 70s? "Come to Big Jacks House of Toys - visit all locations - East Orange, Nanuet, and our newest location in Yonkers!"

              Thanks and take care -

I can verify Spawn67, a toy commerical DID exist for him. This is how I discovered Krusher to begin with. In looking back I wish I had kept him. At that time my parents would not purchase for me any Shoguns, so when they trade was offered I jumped on it

I thought I had seen a commercial for him on youtube, but after looking all I could find was this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZC818PqhcPU (I muted the background music)

BIG FAN of Krusher. Althought the box I own is really faded and I'd like to upgrade.

Loose examples can go for $20-$60 and boxed are usually around $100.

Man, I'd love to see a TV spot.

They missed their morning feeding - see what happens?!?

I think Twiki scored one of these at a local show last year. Wanna say it was around $20-$25 when he got it.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.
