LJN Dune Figures

Maybe that's what I'm thinking of. I remember something about a female figure.

I'm amazed at how much that figure looks like a Playmates ST-TNG style of action figure. The sculpt and proportions are so similar!

This movie never really screamed "action figure". I know they were trying to tap in to the same group of kids that were weened on Return of the Jedi, but they failed miserably.

I like Dune, the movie, (and Frank Herbert books, more so)- but it's too much of a heavy-handed and plodding movie to appeal to kids with short attention spans.

I saw the movie in the theater when I was about ten. I really didn't know what to make of it at the time, it was too weird and almost unintentionally funny.

I remember seeing these toys at Target and wanting some of the figures. I even bought one of laz guns for a schoolmate for his birthday.
