Maybe a six episode season would have been a good idea for Season 2 also? The drama over the kids has been drawn out too long, and the amount of commercial interruptions is really annoying...especially the never ending plugs for Hell On Wheels.

A single zombie, non threatening, trapped in a well. Can't taint the water (even though it may already be tainted and there are 5 other wells on the property to choose from) so let's unnecessarily risk the life of one of our most agile & strategic assets. To raise the bar of recklessness, let's use a corroded & rusty pump as leverage (cuz I'm sure there's no farming tools or equipment available better suited for the task at hand). End result: traumatized kid, tainted water, half a dozen people put in harm's way.

Doesn't seem like everyone bought Shane's story, some of the faces at the memorial sure looked skeptical. Did Herschel know that water may be tainted? Is that why he specified that particular well? Seemed like the daughter may have had a connection to that zombie, is it beyond reason to think that Herschel was already aware of the "swimmer" (a reference to the "twitcher" from the Dawn Of The Dead remake?).

I do think they're dragging it out with Sophia, but I'm still enjoying the show. The whole plan of getting the well zombie out seemed a little silly, and I knew how it was going to fail immediately. But I'll admit that I screamed a little at what happened to it.
