I've noticed with most these, they're an acquired taste. You either like them or you don't.

I would have to say my voice without a doubt...![]()
wow, what's with all the hate on Neil Young. I love this guy. Dylan too
now my pick would probably be someone like Rob Zombie who only screams into the mike or maybe Celine Dion who I cannot stand
I'm probably going to get a lot of heat for this one, but I always thought Frank Sinatra was a pretty lousy singer.
Take away his cool persona for second and just listen to him sing .... He's not very good.
Same with Sammy Davis ...
Dean Martin,
Now he sings good![]()

Danny Elfman. Terrific composer. Horrible singer.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
I was also thinking about Danny Elfman. I love Oingo Boingo but mostly due to the musical arrangements and lyrics...not the actual singing itself.
I'm surprised nobody mentioned Gene Simmons from Kiss since the band was brought up in a recent thread. Paul Stanley was ok but Ace Frehley was a horrible singer. I know he has only a handful of songs that they allowed him to sing lead....the thought of listening to "Shock Me" makes me shudder.

As I stated at the start of this thread... the sentiments in this threads are
trampling on others heroes... and a chance for people who don't like a singer's
approach to vent.... not the healthiest of ideas when dealing with other
member's personal tastes on a subject as intimate as music.
jwy posted: "I've noticed with most these, they're an acquired taste. You either like them or you don't."....well, um, yes, something like that.
I prefer what someone said earlier in the vein of if you don't like 'em, don't
listen to 'em... cause how can one waste their energy "hating"/"bothering with" a singer they never liked in the first place?
When I .... how do you say (?) .... think of my mindframe on this spaceplane, I'm Skywalker with my X-Wing like I was when I was a kid.
