Super Hero trivia: Win a POTA card!

I'm totally apeing (hah!) Mitch's great trivia contest. But since my brain is full of useless info about men in tights, I thought I'd post it here.

Question: This chracter appeared in only one Golden Age Justice Society of America tale in the original run of All-Star Comics. Although he participated in the adventure, he was never given full or honorary membership in the JSA's original 1940-1951 run.

Who is he? Give me the right answer and you'll get a Mego Museum POTA card.

    tough question

Could it be Johnny Thunder's Thunderbolt?

    Just taking a wild guess.

Actually, thats a good answer, but not the one I'm looking for. In the 40s, especially, Johnny's Thunderbolt was pretty much just treated as a "thing" not a person. So I don't think the JSA would have ever really considered him as a member.

At first I thought it was Ma Hunkel - the Red Tornado. But then I reread and saw it was a he, and he'd taken part in the adventure - Ma was just at the headquarters. I've actually got two possibilities, so I'll throw out one.

    Robin?

    Nope, not Robin.

This guy is probably considered by most to have been a member of the JSA during the Golden Age. For years I thought he had been.

My only other guess I could think of would be Star-Spangled Kid.

Not the Star-Spangled Kid. He didn't mix with the JSA until the 70s.

Sandy is another good guess, but he appeared several times with Sandman in his solo chapters. So he made more than one appearance. But he was never a member of the JSA during their original run either.

To be fair, all these are great answers. Thanks for playing!

I'm going to say The Flash. I think he left the group around issue 6.
