Also, I had NEVER seen a black tunic that was the gloved version until recently. I had only seen black cuffed tunics. Here is the first black gloved version tunic that I had seen via scifiguy94's thread a few weeks ago. Although, I did think that those sleeves look a bit short and this could possibly have been a cuffed tunic at one time and just customized this way. However, another member claimed to have a black glove, so that would seem to support this being authentic. Compare this photo to the second one from Lonnie and I think you will agree that this is black and the other is dark blue, albeit a VERY dark blue.

I too questioned if it has some alteration because of the sleeve length, but I turned both sleeves inside out to examine the stitching, and it all looks original and consitent with other tunics I have on hand. The two in question are definitely both blue, albeit different shades, with both much more common than the black.

That and the black glove that showed up in a lot from ebay make me think it's authentic. Great find.

Man, I had NO idea the wealth of information that was out here! I have learned more about my favorite toylines in the past 24 hours than I could have imagined, SO much great stuff here!

Anyhow, I have several of those Ape shirts. I always did wonder if they were made in different colors or just faded in varying degrees. I'll try and gather all of them together and get a decent shot.

          Great stuff.

Okay, for the experts in Ape tunic colors...

What colors do these four tunics look like?

Fletch: Well, there we're in kind of a grey area.
              Frank Walker: How grey?
              Fletch: Charcoal.

Not an expert, but not color blind either, they all look to be blue to me. Really need a better picture to be 100% sure!

Depending on the camera settings, flash on,flash off Ape tunics that are blue can look black. Not an expert, but i'll take a wild guess. The two on the left are blue. The top right might be a silver and the bottom right appears black but is probably blue also.Really hard to tell from the pic and i'm sure thats your point.

How rare is the silver tunic ape? Whats it worth?

                      How about the brown tunic?

Reason I ask is I have a grey/silver tunic. And I am sure it was that color when it was new, I remember buying them. I have a brown tunic and a grey/silver one.
