Some things I want when I get my toy room are: GI Joe Helicopter, a SMDM figure, a coupke of figures from Johnny West, a Steve Scout figure and maybe the Tin Can Alley game. All items I had as a kid.

you know this took me a while but I think I could say one of them is the Jumbo machinder version of Godzilla (the awesome Japanese Godzilla ersion for the Shogun Warrior line, he goes for about a grand now)

I would love to get one of the Monogram Models of the Galactica itself, but those go for a ridiculous price even when they are already glued and painted from someone in the 70s, let alone spending all that to get one in a box unassembled.

My biggest grail isn't a toy but a display, the original Star Wars 12 back bin header. It comes a few times a year but I always miss out on it. Runner ups are a 12 back Luke (which i used to own but sold) and 1979 carded Captain America. '79 Joker was on my list at one time but I was fortunate enough to get him at this year's Meet.

My Holy Grail are the Mego/Princess Grace Dolls Fighting Yank accessory cards and window boxes that I purchased at Kresge's in the Summer of 1966.

There was a Fighting Yank MP small arms card that I bought, and when I pulled the helmet off of it I found this...

I can only assume that the Japanese manufacturer had a clearance of their remaining GI Joe stock when Hasbro moved all the production to Hong Kong, and Meg/PGD picked up a bunch of these items for use on their cards. The holster, .45, and belt are all very obviously Hasbro too. I'd like to find a MOC specimen.

I won't hold my breath, though.

The way Alan Hassenfeld tells it Mego got in a bit of hot water for making exact repro's of Joe products for this line (right down to Joe's fingernail) so it could be an example of factory copying/misuse of the hasbro dies
