SMDM arm/leg accessory question.

I have some SMDM arms and legs that came in an ebay toy lot.
One of the arms has a spot for a battery, what does it do? and what are these accessories called? are they rare/HTF?

From what I remember I would say that it probably lights up, but might be missing the bulb.

I'm not 100% that the legs I have even go with it, but the legs have conpartments that open up and there's small wires inside.

I guess I just assumed that since they came together they were a set but could be two different sets altogether.
Is there a SMDM accesories checklist anybody knows about?

It's a the "laser arm" from the three arm set Kenner came out with for Steve Austin. It takes an AA battery

its a laser arm like mego73 indicated .not rare you can find a MIB Critical Assignment Arms on Ebay for between $40 and $50 bucks

I have the critical arms and legs too, but I think some of the stuff is damaged and/or missing. I found them in a bag at a toy show for $10 total many years ago.
