Ape Black High Gloss Gloved Soldier Ape (Not Lizard Skin) Info Needed

I'm anxiously trying to finish the last of my POTA Soldier Ape Variations, and a new variation has been brought to my attention. Does anyone have any information on the High Gloss Black Gloved Soldier Ape? I know for a fact he exists because I've seen a pic. Paul/Merlyn seems to think he came from Palitoy, though I'm not sure why.

Any info would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I have never seen a black gloved soldier ape but I have seen and have owned a black tunic general ape (with cuffs). I don't think there is a Black variation soldier ape.

I found a Black gloved Soldier Ape varaint on ebay........ DANG, I missed it!!!

I asked the seller question about that. He told me it's all original T-1 Black Soldier Ape with gloves. I believe that's true varaint Black Soldier Ape from Palitoy in the UK.

Alot of sellers that don't really collect these confuse Black for actually being dark Blue. If I had a nickel for everytime a seller told me a tunic was Black when it was actually Blue....I'd have alot of nickels. There is a Black CUFFED general ape released only in the UK but I have never seen a Black gloved Soldier ape in all my years collecting apes.
