Work in Progress The Fortune Teller Machine

I'm extremely proud of this even though it isn't actually finished yet. I got so excited to post it, I couldn't wait.

I saw one in the back of a 4-H barn and I knew I had to try to make one. I like to stretch the idea of what a custom figure can be.

Laurie was generous enough to give me the head, and I painted it. Probably one of my best paint jobs. He'll eventually have a contrasting colored scarf so his black beard shows up a little better. This head would make a great Rasputin from Hellboy!

I'd like to try a Mego scale one, but I'm not sure if I should use the same head.

    Thanks for looking!

It is actually in FC (9") scale, but I would like to do one in regular Mego scale.

Oh wow, this is too cool

  8. Awesome! Very spooky - I love those things. The one in the movie BIG always seriously creeped me out as a kid.
