    Defunct Toy Manufacturer's book

I noticed this book showing up in the MM Amazon banner up top.

Anyone own one or know anything about it?
Amazon.com: Defunct Toy Manufacturers: Lionel Corporation, Mego Corporation, Baseball Talk, Palisades Toys, Ives Manufacturing Company, Meccano Ltd, Ljn (9781156947487): Books LLC: Books

The plain cover and cumbersome title makes it seem very "no Frills".

Isn't this more of an online resource thing? I don't know that it's actually a physical book (thus the non-cover). I could be wrong.
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

There are "books" like that springing up on every subject now, including bands, movies, collectibles, etc. etc.

They basically just take internet articles from sources like Wikipedia and print them in book form.

So essentially the publishers of those "books" are charging people for information which they could simply get on the internet for free.

I would advise anyone to steer clear of such blatant sham publications.
