I just noticed a minor difference in the aquatic avengers costume. the Aquaman I first received had a single metal snap at the neck, and the back opening only goes to about halfway down the torso. Looking at a couple more and noticed they have three plastic snaps, and the opening is cut clear down to the belt.

Not that I think either is a collectors goldmine in the making....just wondering which is rarer? I'm assuming the single snap is an earlier production run?

Is there any way of telling which one is which from just looking at the figure on the card?
Or do you have to actually remove it from the card to tell?

Noticed the metal snap on my Aquaman the day I opened him. Found it a wonderful nod 2 my old Megos with the metal snaps. Thought Doc had said somewhere that the plastic one's would be replaced with the metal one's.

Just looked at mine and if you look down at it from the top of the card you can see the snap mine is plastic

I recall Doc stating the snaps were changing over to metal. So I would suppose the plastic snap items are from production before the factory got the note.

Much as I like the metal snaps over the plastic, I've noticed the metal one has a tendency to cut the thin material used for Aquamans tights. the plastic snapped version also opens up further in the back, making it less likely to snag the outfit when you take it off to put on a doc Mego body (or what have you).
