Lancelot Link - Nobody I know remembers this. I vaguely recall this being a live-action chimp. I was pretty young at the time.

Spectreman - Everyone know Ultraman, but nobody remembers or even believes in Spectreman. I loved this show. Same premise, a Japanese dude grows to 1000 feet tall. He had a dark red suit and a Mr. Roboto mask thing going on. Unlike most shows in the genre, he used weapons if memory serves. I've tried to find evidence of this show but only found a bootleg DVD cover with very poor art.

Nightman - This maybe lasted four episodes, but is based on the Malibu Comics character. I liked it, but then I used to rock a mullet, so my tastes are questionable.

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I could never understand why they chose to just redo old episodes word for word.

It was bound to tank doing that.

It's like the show was ment to fail from the start.

My Sister and I were just talking about Lancelot Link this weekend!!!

That's a huge part of why I think anthropomorphized chimps are hilarious...to this day.

Not sure but maybe that was around the time of one of those writer's strikes? ABC did a "Mission:Impossible" revival that used old M:I scripts from the 60s/70s during a writer's strike....

How 'bout "Masquerade" with Rod Taylor and Kirstie (pre-"Cheers") Alley?

I remember in grade school this girl used to sit across from me in lunch and she had an "Apple's Way" lunchbox....

WOW, very cool to know that I wasn't the only one that watched Wait Til Your Father Gets Home.

And yes, that theme song has stayed with me for decades now. It was only the second prime time animated show with the Flintstones being the first and then the Simpsons became the third. I have never seen it in my area on reruns. I was very young but for some reason I did get it. Not sure why as I am no rocket scientist (but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express once).

I knew a few Sid and Marty Kroft fans would speak up. They have a huge fan base and a lot of people loved their shows. I just wasn't one of them. I was more into cartoons then live action when it came to Saturday mornings.

Great topic. And I had forgotten about some of the bad Fox shows in their early days of programming. Married With Children saved them big time.

I can't even find video for the Tropical Punch segment.

Ah, the early days of Fox.
