    Kid for a day

OK, let's say a magic genie has given you one wish: that you could go back in time and be a kid for a day. How old would you be? What would you do? Who would you wanna see?
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

    Hmmm,
    I'd go back to 7th grade (1977)
It was just fun around that time.

I would actually like to go back when I was 5 to meet my grandmother once more. She was a very nice lady and sorely missed.

I agree with Mike on 1977...I was 15...that was probably my favorite geek year...be able to see Star Wars all over again on opening day...I would love to relieve that...it was also the release of my favorite album of all times...Queen's News of the World...I vividly remember buying the vinyl album back then...plus the Six Million Dollar Man first run episodes on ABC...and the height of Megos of course...I would also buy all the key comics books that I could afford...1977 was awesome indeed...

I wouldn't want to do the visit passed loved ones thing.

It would be too hard seeing them and seperating from them AGAIN.

I'd rather let the dead rest in peace

Go back to 1978 and Spend a whole day with My Mom who I dearly miss....and go see Superman the movie with her and my sister and hear her laugh again when Chris is going to save Lois and looks at the short Telephone booth......I can still hear her laughing about that.

I would go back to the day I found my Mego Spidey and play with him outside all day long until my mom called us in for dinner.

Just kneel. It's easier that way.

Would you have to go back in your own time? I wasn't born until 1977, so seeing the original Star Wars wouldn't help me much, as I wouldn't remember it. Unless I could go back to 1977 and be 10. That would be awesome.

    June 5th 1977.

9 years old, standing outside the Island theater in Staten Island New York. Just had a baseball helmet ice cream sundae at Zips, and was waiting in line to see Star wars with Vinny Vallelong.

Saw the film. Mind sufficiently blown--

Listened to the Bay City Rollers on 8 track on the way home in the Country Squire station wagon. Went to my little league game at West Shore. We played Scalisi Florist and won 7-0. I pitched a 2 hitter and was the hero of the game. Then we ate dinner at Beefsteak Charlies with my cousins and drank like 6 pitchers of birch beer.

Laying in bed that night, I couldn't sleep. All I could think of was that movie and how it got made... How they did that. Thus, begun the journey that I'm on till this very day...

I'd give anything I own to relive that one day.

To be honest and bear my soul, I'd give anything to relive ANY day from my childhood. I frikkin' hate being a grown up.

My life is good, and I'm living the dream, but I haven't had a day as good since.

I donīt want to go back...I miss it but my neighborhood hasnīt changed at all. I would rather know the future. When will this world end?
