    I like the Abyss.
I like a few oter films listed above.

I hated Batman and Robin but to say it is the worst film of all time is ridiculous.
Every 4th grader I taught LOVED it.

On the down side - Freeze was miscast.
The batgirl story was screwed with too much.
The script, dialogue and directing were terrible.

But.. Kids loved it b/c they had 3 heroes, 3 villains, lots of action and color.

The movie made money - it just didn't meet expectations and it put off the former base audience by straying to far from the dark batman.

Lets see- it was a big budget sci fi action movie leaning on visuals with a predictable plot, bad story and dialogue. Hmmm that describes Avatar. The movie that truly baffles me. The hundred billion dollar remake of Fern Gully that duped 100 billion people into paying $14 (I was one - well my dad pasi for the ticket and fool me once shame on you - i'm not seeing it twice)

Yep these are really better lists.

I think the B&R takes into acct expectations and budget.

I saw Baby Geniuses with a troup of K-3 kids. I would have preferred another 2 hours of hurry up and wait revelry at Basic training.

The Abyss?? it's a great movie!! never heard anyone "dis" the Abyss.
B&R was a very bad movie but this is so subjective. I vote for Titanic . . I knew how it was going to end so what's the point? (plus that song from Celine Dione)

I thought Nothing but Trouble was funny.
I liked Moonraker too. ID4 is one of my all time faves. yeah not big opn plot but a great popcorn flick.
Eyes Wide Shut was a pile of crap....other than all the gratuitous nudity of course
B&R had a lot of problems, but I would hardly call it the worst movie of all time. as someone said, the kids loved it. Batgirl was just an unnecessary plot point and Arnold was given stupid one liners. it was all Schumachers fault.
most of Tim Allen's movies are far worse than B&R

Well my kids love Batman and Robin. It them, it's a classic. I'm not much of a fan, but I can see the joy from their perspective.

I think any list will always be subjective, but I also wouldn't justify the pros and cons by what "the kids" like. We're talking about all films from any genre' so your looking at movies with a variety of audiences with different expectations. I wasn't surprised B&R hit the top spot because that subject encompasses such a broad cross section of the population with generations of hardcore fans who have expectations for their hero. Just because a section of kids like it doesn't mean it satisfied it's core base (because the box office returns for this installment was the worst in the series). Those same kids might also give a thumbs up to watching SpongBob Square pants every day. But that doesn't mean I'm suppose to tune in with them. No offense meant, but dumbing down the audience and saying it was really just for little kids was NOT the goals of this film. It was not a SYFY movie of the week and it wasn't made to air on Nickelodeon. It was part of a big money making franchise that was intended to satisfy a much bigger audience. Both the studio and director failed miserably. It was such a flop that it shut down the franchise for many years. Now there will always be fans for ANY movie made out there. But this one does seem to hold a fairly large cross section of people who dislike it...immensely.

It's not how hard you hit, but how hard you can be hit and still move forward.

You guys are listing some films I really like for rotten ones!

I remember one day I walked into my mom's room and saw her watching Batman and Robin! Which shocked the heck outta me, b/c she didn't usually go for the superhero stuff, but from what she told me, she enjoyed it!

I can see it being one of the most depised, sure but it's far from the worst. It's a lousy but coherant film.

I'm not even sure it's the worst Batman movie, I saw the serials on the big screen once, they're hiliarious!
