    Baddest Werewolves

Ok...True Blood werewolves are a joke...the weakest EVER on either film or TV...heck...Michael J. Fox' Teen Wolf would kick their collective arses...

So who you think are the baddest mofos?

    Here's my top five list:

    1. Van Helsing's werewolf...the BADDEST mofo EVER...the thing was lighting fast, really powerful, vicious as hell...a true mad dog...he destroyed Dracula with relative easy...this is without a doubt...the BADDEST werewolf EVER.

    2. Lucian from Underworld...the dude is so baddass...that he doesn't even bother changing most of the time...he easily killed Viktor...the lead vamp.

    3. Twilight's werewolves...laugh all you want...but they are HUGE as heck...and have the ability to kill vamps...who themselves are super strong and fast.

    4. Benicio del Toro's Wolf-Man...lighting quick, great leaping ability, mean mofo.

    5. The blue hybrid vamp/werewolf in Underworld...a tad under Lucian...but pretty up there in power and strength.

Runner's up: Werewolf from London, the Silver Bullet werewolf, the Wolfen werewolves, and Lon Chaney's Wolf-Man...who took on both Dracula and Frankenstein.

    Agree or disagree?

The Werewolf from Fox's Werewolf TV series. Fantastic Rick Baker design.

    Werewolf TV Series > Home

To this day, my favorite Werewolf design.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I thought the werewolves in "The Howling" were awesome too. I remember seeing them as a teenager and scaring the crap out of me.

Great list Hector. You get no argument from me.

            I'm not talking about looks...I'm talking about power here...a werewolf that's baddass...a vampire-capable killer...

Then by your logic...True Blood REAL wolves don't need fake rubber masks either...

I also have to admit a fondness for Full Eclipse as late night cable trash.

I refuse to see Twilight and I haven't seen del Toro's Wolf-Man yet, but I can live with the rest of your list

To me this is a no-brainer - The best werewolf movie ever made - "American Werewolf in London."

Yeah, that beats acting. Your credibility was shot when you mentioned what my son calls "The Kissy kissy vampires". There's more horror in a bowl of frankenberry.

The werewolves in 'Dog Soldiers' were pretty hardcore. They wasted a bunch of Scottish Commandos. Maybe not SAS or Navy Seals, but still.

What about the one in American Werewolf in London?

He wrecked Picadilly Circus and bit that chaps head off.
