Toys R Us Update.....Any Wave 2 sightings yet?

A Toys R Us Express just opened up the road from me in Plainview NY and it has
a case of wave 2 on the pegs.

I keep wanting to buy them all, but then my wife reminds me that I still have
cases in the dining room that I got from Amok Time.

They are a thing of beauty when I seem them on the pegs in the stores. It is definitely tougher to resist them when I see them in the stores. Especially the RC Batman.

I on the other Hand...have no trouble resisting the RC Batman.

I just waited long enough and found them at a toys r us express in St Peters Missouri.

Found a case at Toys R Us/ Babys R Us in Littleton Yesterday. Stores Grand Opening isn't till this weekend...but I had to poach a Batman.

Secondly, That is great that you found them. I have been to the St. Peters store several times years ago. I started frequenting a couple of others stores around the STL area then I just gave up and started calling them to no avail. Then I even quit doing that and basically said the heck with TRU all together.

I bought and traded for all mine right here at The Museum right from the comfort of my easy chair. I did actually buy one at a TRU as they had an RC Batman on the pegs. Thanks to the tip from another STL member. I have already pre ordered wave 3 from a very reputable on line store.

Strangely, the new Toys R Us Express in my 'hood has one each of Wave I, and that's it.

Finally saw 1 batman at my TRU in Hurst (FTW) Tx. The card was beat to hell, the cape was already splitting and batman was in a weird stance that look like he had a "bat-gut"!....Plenty of Lexs left over.

We have 1 toys r us and 2 express stores and they have not appeared in any of them as of yet. Just wave 1 on the pegs.

My son and I went on an adventure today and wound up stopping at the TRU Express that had opened relatively near to us. I had picked up a Batman and a Two-Face there a couple of months ago and at the time had to put Manta back because I didn't have enough cash with me. Back then there were about two cases of wave 1 and two cases of wave 2 on the pegs. Well on the pegs today were left a Two-Face, two Aquamen (I have him now already), two Lexes, and at the very back one Black Manta left. Successful trip

Finally saw Batman up close and personal at a local comic shop. Passed on the $25.99 price, but he did look good. Costume looked in very good shape, and he wasn't in some crazy position. If TRU doesn't get 'em soon, I'll have to go back and snag it.

Okay, a couple of months ago. Wave two was available A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO??! And we are still waiting for those to show up in NE Ohio?! What the h ell is going on that we can't get Wave 2 here? I don't get it.

It might have been more like the end of August. So not really a full two months. But previously, it was mentioned that the Express stores were getting the fresh stock and the regular TRUs were coming up behind that. I'm sure they will probably show for you soon.

Even the TRU Xpresses around here don't have them. This sucks.
