Now let me get this right...

    Waltons Farmhouse. Auction here...
THE WALTONS TV FARM HOUSE FOR THE DOLL FAMILY MEGO NRFB - eBay (item 220649336236 end time Aug-12-10 12:24:54 PDT)

Seller says rare, mint, boxed, etc etc... finally,
"DUE TO ITS SIZE, THIS WILL BE SHIPPED AS IT IS UNLESS YOU REQUEST AN OUTER BOX (INTHAT CASE, IT WILL WEIGH MORE AND COST MORE TO SHIP~UP TO YOU)."

So, if I understand this, it's $23.95 to tape a shipping label and postage on the actual MIB toys box, mail it, and hope it even arrives with the 30 year old tape holding the contents inside the not-intended-for-shipping package?

If that's the case I hop he'll at least wrap the Walton box in paper or something

I hope if anyone bids they actually read the entire description of the item so they do not get a nasty surprise.

How often do these come up, I've never seen one, but I've never looked.

A couple show up on ebay per year, but not too many that are unopened. Quite a few of them have water damage. There is one seller who has one with water damage and has been posting it with a buy it now for $500 for over a year now. Needless to say, it hasn't sold. It is a VERY big box. I'd say about 50 inches or so long by around 30 inches high. That might explain why so many have water damage. You can't easily display it on a shelf, so many probably get stored on floors, presumably basement floors.

great item, it would suck for it to get damaged due to a lazy seller
