Not sure if I spelled that right. The batgirl and at least 1 of these batman cowls are original. Both cowls may be original but I'm not sure how to tell. Are the DM cowls marked? I had 1 DM batman cowl and 2 original batman cowls and I forgot what was what. Can you guys help me out?

The one on the left is DM, center Mego BG, right is Mego RCB.
The DM ones are dull sheen, original is shiny.
The DM ones have the protruding (or well defined) eyebrows.
His guy in china did a excellent job. But that is a distinct difference to remember without worrying about whether it's marked.

For me there are two distinctive features which always tell me when a cowl is a repro...or in this case Doc's repro - The eyebrows on his cowl are more sharply defined and rounded than on the original Mego cowl. They kind of look like two minitature hot dogs. I call it the weiner cowlAnd the thickness of the cowl is different as well. Look at how thin the cowl is around the cut out for the mouth and chin (the side flap). Then look at the original. The original is always thicker.
It's not how hard you hit, but how hard you can be hit and still move forward.
In this picture, yes. But Jason's is a bit smashed. It probably got stored for a while in that shape and held it. No repro looks better than a Mint Mego RCB (imo).Originally Posted by scifiguy94
