A Couple of Questions About Cloth Emblems

Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster.

I recently scored this sweet Batman Mego on this little unknown website where you can buy and sell things called eBay. The figure is in brilliant condition (by my standards, anyway), only missing his gloves.

When I got him, I immediately noticed that his chest emblem was one of the cloth-like versions, which I've read about in Holcomb's book. So, I was wondering if the cloth emblems are more rare, and/or more desirable (not that I'm selling him).

Also, the emblem is threatening to fall off. Is there a safe way to re-adhere the emblem without causing any damage to the emblem or the jumpsuit?
