I have a black Baby Brother Tender Love who's anatomically correct. I call him Winkie!

I have to wonder if anyone actually ever bought one of these things. they are ugly and really, All in the Family was not a toy friendly license.

I remember my mom seeing this in the store and wanting to buy it as she told me that it might be a wanted item someday. I was too embarrassed to let her do it because it would look like she was buying it for me
        It's all good!

I remember all the news stories about it when it came out but I think it still was a dud. I see them for sale with the box quite often on ebay which usually indicates a poor seller or people bought them and stuck them in a closet as a collectible.

Trust me, every doll collector in the world thought they'd be worth something. I can't remember a doll or toy show where I haven't seen a MIB joey.

Wow, I'd never seen this before. It's so strange it almost has a kind of ironic appeal. Also, what's it doing on etsy?

                Ya know,

I clicked on this thread simply because I had NO clue who Joey Stivic was. Now, I know. Have to say, this is probably one of the more stupid dolls ever made. I'd love to have 10 minutes with the toy executive who greenlit that one.

Also some of the worst packaging I've ever seen. It's rare when a box makes you run away from a shelf.

I remember the media blitz surrounding this doll's release. It was big news at the time.

I remember that too. Some people were outraged because Joey had a wang.

So this is why the Meathead action figure was never produced?

What's even more disturbing to me is the guy says he "went over the doll extensivly" ... scary
