    Finally caught this tonight after missing it at the Toronto Film Festival's Midnight Madness last year.

    By far the most entertaining Grindhouse-style no budget old school exploitation trash film I've had the pleasure of enjoying in quite some time.

    Tonight was the Perfect Guys Night for me... Buddies, BBQ, Beer, Bud, and ***** Slap!

    Jen loves these movies! She was actually the one who wanted to see it on the Big Screen at the Film Fest. During the off season from the Opera and the Symphony, her guilty picks for movies is stuff like Zombie Strippers (seriously!).


    The two types of movies she doesn't like are overt "chick flicks" like Bridget Jones' Diary or The Notebook, and "dumb guy" comedies like Hot Tub Time Machine or The Hangover (which is why we have Guys Night). I also can't get her to watch old school kung fu with me, although she digs the new school wire-work arty Kung Fu like House of Flying Daggers.

    The other day, she sent me to the bakery to pick up some scones. This of course led to some lively discussion with our houseguests (one of whom is American) over Scones vs Biscuits.
