I had just thought it was interesting that a large assortment of Wave 1 would come in so close to the "eve" of Wave 2 being released.

I believe so. To be honest, I didn't notice the price tags, I was just walking by the aisle with my son and didn't want to actually walk down it. Otherwise, we might have gone home with more than a Thomas lunch box for his daycare and I need to watch the funds this year and want to hold out for Wave 2 when they get in.still at 19.99?It's all good!Comment

Just wondering about the cost,heard rumors of a price increase for the new ones,can't go wrong with a Thomas the train luch box huh.Problem is,after you have that you need the jacket and hat and folder and pens and well it'll soon be hard to tell your son apart from Thomas the Train himselfComment

I think the price rumor/mention, was for the NYC area mostly. I forgot which thread that was in. I'm in the DC/Baltimore area but wouldn't be surprised to see an increase in prices, not just for Retro-Action, but across the board as we get close to December.It's all good!Comment

I went to the Novi, Mi TRU today. They had 2 of ea of wave 1 on the shelf. I looked at all of them and there was no sign of the bendy body on any of them. Normally you can see it in the packaging. Perhaps the quality control is getting better?sigpicComment

Checked out the Christiana, DE TRU last night. Three full pegs of Wave 1: 2 GLs, and the rest Luthor and Sinestro. I think reducing the villian count per case for future waves is probably a good thing and won't affect those of us that want them.
