Thanks for the info. I looked at several stores and kept coming up with the same figures over and over. I couldn't imagine everyone snatching up all the Wedge Antilles figures . I was guessing they may not have shipped but couldn't find any information confirming that.

I've got a few of the Empire ones. I'd like the Luke in the pilot suit. I'm hoping they make a C3PO that can be taken apart and put in a backpack that Chewie can carry. Or is that too specific a thing to want?
Don't open them! We have to preserve history!Comment

Wow, I'm a bit behind on what's been coming out from this line for the past couple of months, but they look like they're just getting better.Comment

They are getting better.
I bought everything when they reintroduced the line in 1995 and in some cases doubles...sheesh, what was I thinking? Then when Phantom Menace hit and even Attack of the Clones I was on board. Then I just lost interest in everything Star Wars. Sideshow pulled me back in with the 1/6 line and then last year, I saw the Luke Skywalker in snow speeder outfit. I LOVED that figure as a kid and they really hit it out of the park with the new version. With all the vintage cards...flood of great memories. Empire is and always wil be my favorite movie so I have enjoyed all the recent vintage figures.Comment

Sometimes it's better to wait . At this point in collecting we know a lot will hit the secondary market. So be careful about those emotional buys at first.
Exceptions would be the small run collector aimed stuff.
I have no doubt in five years EBay will be flooded with Retro figures from Mattel but I think Biff Bang Pow etc stuff will acually go up in value and stay there.Comment
