Classic toys spotted on Starsky & Hutch

Was up late watching some vintage Starsky & Hutch when I spotted some classic toys in a few shots. Thought I would share...

Here is a Super Joe Gore hanging dead center...

In the bottom left frame is the very rare Stretch Armstrong. Cool shot of him in the window box.

If you notice in the upper right portion of the screen, there sits a mint Shogun Godzilla in box. Sorry the resolution isn't better, but that is clearly the Zilla master himself...

Of course, he may have been out of the box too. Here's Godzilla's claws sticking out in the upper frame of this shot...

Not everyday you see that many shots of our vintage toys in ONE scene from a Starsky & Hutch episode. I thought that was pretty cool.

Dude, I have been looking to find that episode since I was a kid, I knew they went to a toystore but couldn't remember when. Thank you so much for posting these!

      WHAT episode is it?

That is awesome. Thanks for posting the screen grabs. Gor and the Shogun Godzilla, among two of my favourite 70's toys, that's so great to see.

Wow, seeing that Gor in the package totally flashed me back to when I was opening mine up and taking him out of the bubble. Cool!
              It's all good!

No problem. Fourth season, Disc 3, Episode 11 - "Cover Girl" - A model thinks she doesn't have long to live and goes to a local mobster to hire someone to kill her. The guy hired uses toys as a means to mask explosives. It was a fun episode.

That's cool. I remember other shows where the character's made a brief appearance but didn't even notice all that when I watched this episode.

Extremely cool catch. A couple of serious classics there. Godzilla is one of my favorite toys ever, and the only way they could beat Stretch Armstrong, is by replacing him with Stretch Monster, another one of my all time favorites.

                            Thanks for sharing this!

Thanks, I need to dig that up. I seem to recall (and this is a memory going back to the late 70s) Starsky going on about the toy store in his neighbourhood as a kid which had singing fish or something like that.
