"For Victory!" cried the Shining Knight!
Finally got my Shining Knight done. I picked up the pieces for Sir Justin at last year's Mego Meet. Doc Mego provided a resin Cheron head, yellow body suit and Conan scabbard and sword. I briefly thought about making his costume gold, but while that might make him look good with the Mego knights, he'd stick out like a sore thumb with the WGSH. So yellow it was, with some model magic and gold paint for his helmet, and the same Mego-like vinyl I used for the Vigilante's hankerchief for his tunic. A paco cowboy belt to keep his britches up. Again, tried to make it look as Mego-like as possible.
I know in some appearances (including JLU) his helmet is gray/silver, but I think the gold works better.
With my somewhat customized Speedy (who needs his sleeves cut), that gives me 4 of the Seven Soldiers, although I plan to do GA in his original costume for this group next.
