    Nosferatu has claimed my soul!

I'm so sorry I didn't take pictures of CastAWay's NOSFERATU prototype at his MegoMeet debut! He's one of my all-time favorite classic monsters (I flipped when Monarch's Aurora-style kit came out!), and CAWT's prototype totally claimed my soul when I saw it! David and the guys were great to talk about it with me. Anyone who knows me knows that my 8" interests are very limited, and very, very few make me 'gotta have it'. This is absolutely one. It received a really positive reception at the CastAWay panel as well, which was great to see.

My input was to suggest a greytone release, to match the film's original images. Barring that, I would prefer a pale, dusty greyish complexion, which would contrast nicely with his aged, royal crimson long coat.

The figure's base and tiny set of keys were d4mn cool as well. If things conspired to eliminate them, it would be a shame. But the figure is so nice that I think we could live with it if we had to...!

I did - it was a blast, as always. There isn't much along my lines of interest that goes on within an hour or so of driving distance we're generally limited to in my household to attend, so the proximity of MegoMeet makes it a very rare gem in my life.

I left my camera's SD card at home, and my wife arrived after they had it out to show off. Otherwise I'd have taken like 50 pictures.

It was awesome seeing the Nosferatu, as well as Headless Horseman and Invisible Man up close and personal. Can't wait until these come out.

                    Great Job Cast-A-Way!

Also shown was the Creepy Classics line, starting with the Headless Horseman and the Invisible Man. There was some discussion of having a magnet to attached the pumpkin head to the horseman while having it easily removable. There was also talk of the Invisible Man's head being cast in clear plastic with the details painted on. This would give an interesting effect of having the gaps between the bandages look transparent. There was further questions of having a transparent body that were hinted at but not confirmed.
Magnets on the Headless Horseman sculpt and Invisible Man's head cast in clear plastic are great ideas, go for it
