    The Return of the Bionic Beach Towel

    As a child, I spent a lot of time at the beach and pool. I had the SMDM towel from about 1976 until probably 1981. Finally my Mom threw it out because it had pretty much deteriorated. It was my favorite towel and it went with me everywhere during the summer months. For the last few years I have been searching for another one.

    At last I have found a replacement. Sure feels good to have something like this back again.

      That's AWESOME.. Congratulations on finding a replacement..!!!

      It must be a testament to my life-long 'geekhood' that my Captain America towel stayed pristine. I'm still looking for the Spidey, Thor and Star Trek towels from the mid 70s. The colors were so vivid..!

      My best friends family had the Trek towels and they were used, used, used back in the day. These were truely wonderful vintage collectables.

              WOW! That's really great! It would go so well w/ the Bionic Woman beach towel I found on Ebay awhile back. One day, it'll go on the inside of my toyroom door. (Sorry Vincent and Catherine).

              Congrats on your find, Jason! Are you gonna take it to the beach this summer for old time's sake?
