Yes Thomas, we've been disgusted with the fact that Bruce and the Orca boat were just left to rot. A shame that such a famous prop from the most influential film in history was not preserved. The Orca was at least part of the JAWS ride in California until it rotted and a replica was built to replace it. Bruce, however, was just left to rot in the backlot. I suspect the problem is that the Jaws movies ALWAYS went way, way, way over budget and over-schedule so when the films wrap, the crew just took off. In fact, one of the sharks from Jaws 2 was just left behind in Florida once filming commenced...we believe the head is in a film museum in Italy today.
As far as Bruce IV, that's the only shark I've ever seen in person...here's what he looked like back in 2001...
Also, there's yet another 2-hour Jaws documentary coming on BIO Channel in a couple weeks...here's an ad I uploaded to You Tube...I'm sure they will talk about what happened to Bruce during the show...

LOL! That's a rubber one KW. They used both plastic and rubber depending on the scene. Quint's death, which is what this tooth was for, were rubber.
Some other cool pics...

You can also see a replica Bruce head that was built for JAWSFEST'05 (Joe Alves was a technical consultant) by the talented Greg Nicotero who is also a die-hard finhead. Just look for my wife coming out of his mouth in this trailer for our third film...
