Deluxe Planet of the Apes Playset (Lots of Big Pics)
Well, here she is at last. I've been working on this thing forever. You can check out the work in progress threads if you care to. I did all the illustrations myself in flash and photoshop, aiming for a marker art feel similar to Mego's but hopefully more sophisticated. You can't see but I added printer's dots to the art to make it feel more retro. The vinyl panels are of course factory made Dida Display pieces, the Lawgiver and Bridge are made with laminated artwork.

Comes with a jail cell with lasercut plastic bars. This shot shows a bit of how the bridge is snapped into place.

And of course the Statue of Liberty. You can see the arm and sun are an extension that fits on top of the wall and is attached to the oversized Lawgiver, so it gives it a better sense of scale than if the whole statue was on one wall panel. I could have lined it up a bit better in this shot.
The whole set disassembles so you can display it easily in a variety of ways
Then in all comes apart and folds up inside...
And you can carry it to school...The front panel shows the crashed spaceship.
