Mego Batman 12" Knock Off - Any Info

Wow, I have seen the matching knock off Superman, it was one of these little "knockoff stores" we have all over the place in Chicago that sell a lot of junk basically, they usually sell tons of knock off toys. I usually assume they are some sort of business front for some shady goings ons because nobody ever ever seems to buy anything at them.

The card was the same except it says Superman at the top and Batman's and Superman's Pictures are obviously swapped. I am 99% sure it was made in Mexico. Also I am pretty sure Supermans's body was red also, I will have to ask my wife in the mourning and see if she remembers.

They were like $3, I don't know why I didn't buy one.

I can say it's an early version pre 1988 We had it in the shop back then. There are mnay versions of this figure but the earliest I know is this one but I'm no expert.
