AHI Batman Parachutist Question

Does anyone know how the strings were connected to the parachute? I just picked up a loose one and looks like the strings were attached with masking tape. There are no holes I can make out in the chute itself and the tape is dried up, not in the least bit adhesive and had lifted ink off the parachute.

I think I want to re-attach the strings to the chute and hang it up as a display. I want to try and keep it as close to original.

If I remember right, they were attached with transparent, round sticky tabs...which weren't very sticky. They often were coming off when you opened the package.

Yep, Chris is right on the money. The sticky tabs were about the size of a dime.

Makes sense. This person must have replaced the tabs with masking tape.

Maybe I can get something similar at an office supply store or a craft store.
