Forbidden Planet blu ray finally coming

When the HD-DVD/Blu-ray format wars were in full swing, Warner initially went with HD-DVD. When Forbidden Planet got a revamped special edition DVD release, it was also released on HD-DVD.

When HD-DVD threw in the towel, there were several HD-DVD titles that remained the only way to get the flicks in HD.

Forbidden Planet was one of those but it will see blu-ray release on 9/7. Other sci-fi titles will be rolled out that day too

Matrix Reloaded (single release, was already available in a box set)
Lost In Space movie (bleh!)

I wonder if everything from the Forbidden Planet SE will be ported over to the blu-ray, including "The Invisible Boy"
