    3 on a peg.

Poor Retro WGSH. They look so sad hanging on the one peg at the bottom dedicated to them. Green Lantern, Sinestro and Lex. Slumped over looking sad. Waiting to be adopted. I passed on them.
Too many toys. Not enough space!

I forget - what was the retail price point of the Famous Covers line and the DC 9" line?

When they were clearanced, sure. That wasn't their retail price. I'm pretty sure it was at least $10-$15.

Original Famous Cover retails was in the $10-$12 range with comic shops and Kaybee slightly higher. Once the Diamond exclusives hit they were closer to $20. Funny how quickly standard MSRP can change huh? I would love to pay $10 retail for a Mego styled fig these days.....

Many people were all excited about seeing these hanging in a store, and buying them over the counter and what not, now there's a bunch of threads about how lame it is seeing them hanging in a store.
Try making an equivalent custom of any of the retro-action figs with packaging for under 20 bucks. Not gonna happen.

    Good point(s)...

And, even if people get these figures for "less" on eBay, a lot of the time after you factor in shipping they'd come out to near retail anyway...

I don't know about that... These days a 3 3/4" SW figure is around $8.00+... I couldn't see any of the major retailers selling these figures for much less than what they're going for now... $15.00 at the lowest (unless on clearance)...

The FC's and Hasbro stuff started out at 16.99 at TRU. And I see your point, why can't Mattel get that price point down? smaller less complicated figures should at least come in at that same price.
