Thread: A "how much is it worth" question

Question A "how much is it worth" question

I am paying off bills and need to sell my Star Wars han Solo normal head figure. The figure is mint on a near mint card ( it is a thing of beauty). The only problem is the p.o.p. is cut out of the back. It is a neatly done circle cut that can't be seen from the front. Besides the pop missing it looks like it came off the shelf yesterday. I was wondering what the value would be on a figure like that.

The POP cut hurts alot but it may still have value. brian's toys can be a good place to price shop for what people ask
there is alot of "restored" package SW fig out there be certain this isn't a recarded fig with an old card and new bubble

aslo use EBAY see if there is a similiar moc conditon and what the prices people are bidding versus what are asked for, these sound like your han but no bids yet
Original 1977 Kenner Star Wars 12 Back R2D2 Figure MOC - eBay (item 250620229599 end time Apr-27-10 13:08:05 PDT)
VINTAGE STAR WARS JAWA 12 BACK MOC UPC CIRCLE REMOVED - eBay (item 370369441350 end time May-22-10 13:45:39 PDT)

    things that hurt the price
POP - as you say cut
Era cards (Aka # of figures shown on the back and if any are "blacked" out) as a small head I would expect that to be a 12 back or possibly 24 back STAR WARS card
Mail in offer markings - in that era the only one would be Fett mail in i think
Yellowing or cracks in blister and any rising on the blister
    creases in the card
    wear on hanger tag

I suspect it won't be much more than 50-100 and that is a guess since most MOC collectors want uncut pop.

Mine has only the circle removed. Like I said, the thing is mint besides that.
