Aw, these are just TOO cool! And any reason you have action figures from 1980 in your truck compartment? There has to be a good story there...

re dekker i think that MEGO were really truying to make the motion picture figures different from each other- to think about it- appart from kirk they all wear the same uniform but that yellow suit and brown shoe combo they gave dekker- sheesh- no wonder he fried himself.

I agree with you they should've at least included phasers. Huge oversight.

Why not shrink some 12" phasers?

This was one of my favorite lines as a kid. Today it still is and among my favorite toys in my collection.

That's actually a good idea Dave. However you could always take the phasers from the Ertl 3.75" Star Trek 3 line.

I lost a bid on a loose one on EBay but I know folks need 12" replacement phasers. I figured why not?
The Star Trek 3 Phaser ( SPock and Scotty only?) is the wrong style.

Playmates made one for the Star Trek Classics figures but I thought it was over sculpted.

Still, NO phaser is better than something silly like, I dunno having a phaser permantlly molded in a hand .

( "Politically Correct Trek" my Butt! one hand had a gun the other cocked in a fist GALOOB ! )

I consider it the right place! Nice to see a look at this rarity.

That's really nice. I've always thought the design of the Klingon Bird of Prey was spectacular, and you're right--for the time it was made, Mego did a great job on it.

Hello. This is my first post here. I collect 3.75 inch/ 1/18 scale figures- Trek and superheroes. Trek was and is my first love. I have all of these but the Betelgeusian, and at some point would like to att the playset. I also have some customs I have done and will be posting as I learn my way around.
