I have a really funky orange towel from when I was a kid, it has big daisys on it and it was my Shazam cape. My wife would seriously like to burn it but it's just too big a connect for me.

I did know someone who had one. We had the wall unti fake fireplace (a lit-up roll of foil rotating behind opaque fake logs). However, my first Christmas back in Oakland, after my divorce, I put up my own w/ that corrugated brick paper, on a blank wall, and put stockings up for the kids I babysat, me and my mom. I even took snaps of the kids, and made cards for their parents."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."Comment

Talking about fugly towels. I still have one from the 70's with this pop-art-ish tiger on it.
He's still very cute, although the towel has long since lost its absorbency after going through 40+ years of wash cycles and trips through the dryer.
I still wouldn't give it up though.JediJaidaComment
