I just want to get this project off the ground, the waiting is the worse part.

the new marvel universe figures probably fit really well in this playset. alot of the characters have 70's designs (ironman, namor, sunfire, vision, ect.)

How can anyone not want this set? Truly one of the best toys ever! Kids must have had a blast playing with this.

              Hmmmm....

If you had good scans of it you could make copies at any scale. Something around 600dpi would probably do; especially if you had access to an industrial printer. You could make an 8" scale one; but might have to divide it into sections for printing, which could be glued onto corrugated cardboard. Corrugated cardboard being humanity's greatest creation. Case in point:

              >There's around 20 pages or so of instructions and you could probably pick up the book for less than $5.

Supercity! Humanity's best application of corrugated cardboard! I found the book at the library, and later bought my own off of ebay for about $2. (Outer Space Station, you're next!)

              >One thing is for certain and that's you'll need a lot of room!

It takes up an entire living room.

Don, I have the pleasure of having the 3 woman's day star wars playsets, but I never had the supercity. I really want the scans to the Amsco Marvel World Playset, like you said, I want it to make for different scale sets, (read this entire thread I've said that exactly), It's just the waiting to get the scans to move this project forward.

Built?!?!? I got the plans for all of them, but haven't made them yet. (I DID make Hoth when I was a kid.)

                        Heeheeee..... cool!

My parent's built me the original and I still have it to this day, it's what got me into dio building, I should clarify that I have the plans to the 3 sets, I only have the Original and Hoth built, I don't have the home of the jedi master built, nor do I have the hero city.

But to stay on topic I'm still in DIRE need of the scans to the AMSCO hero World playset.

And to get off topic again, do you have pictures of your dios posted anywhere on the interwebs?

And... back on topic. Wish I could help with the AMSCO city. I know how painful it is when you're really ready to get a project started, but then can't due to lack of materials/resources. But I'm sure someone here will pull through for you.

Yes, I still need the scans, (This will be the last time I ask), I feel like I may have to scrap the project if I don't get a break.
