What TV show did you wish to be real and be a part of?

My daughter keeps on telling me that she wishes that Alvin and the Chipmunks were real and that she could have them in our house. She knows that it is only animation and a movie (or cartoon from our DVD collection), but still insists it would be fun if magically it could be real.

That got me thinking about how as a child I thought it would be cool to own the robot and fly the Jupiter II. Or even when I was a teen (and apparently a super geek), wish I could have an alien give me a red super suit.

Did any of you all wish a TV show was real and you could pop into it or have elements from it? Sitcom, Drama, SciFi....

I wanted to ride in the Batmobile & visit the Batcave...and slide down the secret identity poles! We used to have a sliding board at the playground with a fireman's pole down the side- my friends and I always used to play & yell "To the Batpoles, Robin!"

When I was a kid, I was BIG on family shows, since during certain times in my life my family put the FUNK in disfunctional, so I wanted to be a part of the Brady Bunch, The Partridge Family and Eight Is Enough. Now I know I'm black, but I wanted to be a neighbor or something. I also wanted to be on some Krofft shows: Electra Woman & Dyna Girl (as the new kid sidekick "Daring Kid"), The Lost Saucer (I had it bad for Jarrod Johnson "Jerry") and Bigfoot & Wildboy (likewise for Joseph Butcher "Wildboy"). And yes, I wanted to be on Mission: Magic and fly w/ Rick Springfield, Miss Tickle and the Adventurer's Club to cool places. As an adult, I've longed for the friendship and protection of "Vincent" on Beaty & The Beast, and yes, solving mysteries w/ Frank and JOE Hardy and The Hardy Boys Mysteries! (Yeah, w/ SHAUN CASSIDY And when Shaun was on General Hospital in '87, I wish I was his love interest! Those love scenes were SMOKING! HURT ME!!

*edit to add* When The Jacksons had their summer variety show, I wanted to be on that, as well as Willis' girlfriend on Diff'rent Strokes.

Batman is one if only for the car

but as a kid I was an Emergency junkie. I had every paramedic toy let alone licensed stuff. It seemed so exciting and cool riding in the truck saving people. Later I looked into being a paramedic but even paid ones make very little so I ended up doing other things

and ultimately I still hope to join the crew of the Tardis and see the universe
