You must have your wife say Maygo. Then it's more authentic.

On a more serious note: I hope Paul Clarke doesn't do the clam shell routine this time. Just slap a bubble on a backer card and let us buy more than one if we wish to rip one off.

Dr. Mego We need you to do Repro bodies for the 12" mego females. They are all melting away on us. I would love a new body for the painted and unpainted Wonder Woman dolls and for the tan dolls like Cher and WW. There are lots of celebrity doll collectors who would buy them too.

This is something we really need! BADLY!

I am not liking the reissued stuff.... too much still out there.

I would rather see new lines done

I like th Greatest American hero and maybe offering him for say .. oh i don't know? under $50 !!!

Regardless of anyones thoughts on CTTV I thought the Munsters were a great addition to the 8" kingdom. I only wish they's had more ideas like that line.

Come on Paul, let's see the Green Hornet and Kato buddy

            New lines

Sounds great - I just need you to do two things for me:

Get me a meeting with the license owners
            and
show me where the fans of that license are.

Oh, and I will need about $30,000 to get started
to cover tooling and to begin production.

I am making Apes because Diamond put up the money
for the license then asked me (EMCE) to make the
figures for them. I can only make what Diamond orders,
            and they can the shots.

Someday I may get a license on my own, but it will have
to be one that I am in love with.:die:

yeah the thing with the GAH figure was that it was made an exclusive for a toy convention and only 400 made in a market of 1000's of mego collectors,it was actually only like $50 at the show,I'm sure if it would've been done in high quantities like the Trek figures it would've been a lot cheaper, that being said $300 seems pretty darn high as well

Of course you'll see Zira. She's common as dirt as a mego so why not reproduce her. Then the makers can tell us all that if we do not buy the common repros we will never get the much rarer figures. Unfortunately there are no super rare apes so extortion will not work this time. By the way, I would be one who would buy a Green Hornet or Kato figure. They at least were never made by mego thus they are not common as anything.

I'd like to see Zira only because it would show that Doc has the ability (tooling, etc) to make female figures. I suspect we won't see Zira unless we see an Uhura, but I'd be surprised by either.

it might have already been mentioned, but I'll ask again just in case I missed it; are these POTA figs going to follow suit and only come out 2 at a time over several months? I know patience is a virtue, but dang...after getting these kick@$$ Kirk and Klingon figs..the wait totally stinks for the next round....really want that Andorian and Rommie!!!
Kinda hoping to see a faster turnout for POTA.....and even faster turnout when EMCE gets to do WGSH!!! LOL LOL LOL

In case anyone is interested, Medicom released 9" Green Hornet and Kato figures in Japan, as a part of their Real Action Heroes 220 line. Not quite Mego sized, but very well done. At least they sort of give you an idea of how cool a Mego sized Green Hornet/Kato would actually be.

Agreed CJefferys. Here's a link on Ebay for those figures. Not a bad price for two figures in the Medicom line.
