    Remco CSF Emergency Rescue Set

Remco got piles of mileage out of these choppers but I rarely see the non licensed stuff in catalogs, mostly you see the Star Trek or the (incredibly stupid) Hulk versions of this. I also never knew what CSF stood for, "Chopper Special Forces" that would have never been my guess.

At first glance this looks great, but basically this is just a chopper that swirls around with cardboard people and cardboard buildings, no?

it seems like a slightly modified take on the old 1970's "whirrly bird" games/toy

It's basically a re-do of Mattel's VertiBird, which was actually an AWESOME toy. You may think it only "goes in circles", but it was one of the best toys you could get as a kid.

I agree with SpaceCrawler. Vertibird was an awesome toy.

I had a helicopter toy like that (not that one) as a kid and I loved it.
