Thread: Brady Bunch dolls. Should I buy for my daughter?

Brady Bunch dolls. Should I buy for my daughter?

A couple of weeks ago Target had a bundle of the Brady Bunch seasons 1 &2 for $16.99. I bought them more or less as a joke, because me and my wife quote the show to my 7 yr old daughter. She actually LOVES the show now! Anyway I heard a lot of complaints about CTVT toys, but looking at the female dolls it doesn't look like they have much articulation to worry about. Is this true? If they do break, can I put their heads on mego bodies? I don't mind wasting $20 on the set of 4, but I just don't want her to be heartbroken over it either if they fall apart coming out of the package. Thanks for any insight.

I've bought a few for customs and they were ok. The thing that really sucks about this line is no Mike Brady. Guess the estate of Robert Reed was just to darn expnsive.

They're typical CTVT. Very little playability. You can always swap em out if they break though.

Thanks everybody for the feedback. I purchased the series 2 figures from ClassicTVToys, loose for $15. I figured it would be noticed if they were broken before they ship that way. Also I can see if they'ss hold up and switch the bodies if not. The boys I'll wait to get since she likes the girls anyway. Except for Greg 7 years old going on 16.

Saw these today. Bobby looks like the Dwarf kid on "Little People, Big World".
