Is it easier enlarging a head or shrinking one? I'm contemplating giving this a whirl and was just curious as to the consensus

I'm not into this, but I'm pretty sure shrinking is always easier

I'll let you know,... I am trying the enlarging 1st.
I've definitely found the shrinking process to be easier but it does seem to take a bit longer to get a head to 8" scale than by enlarging them.

With Hydrospan? I think enlarging is easier.
To shrink a head with Hydrospan you mix Hs400 with water and it evaporates from the cast and shinks.
With Hs 100 you mix two parts, let the cast cure the soak in water and it swells up. If you get it to big... let it sit and it will shrink back down. So IMO it's a little more forgiving.
I hope I got the 100 and 400 right-- I get them mixed up all the time.
Don't be sorry. How would you know? You've been watching MTV all your life.
