I've never been a fan and may never be. However, look at the moves they made. If there's a team out there serious about winning it all, this is it. They added Cromartie to bolster the already best in league secondary and now added Tomlinson. These guys are hardcore about a Super Bowl next year. Gotta give it up to them. Wouldn't be surprised to see them make a run at TO.

Thomlinso's Done imo ..., Dude never showed up for the Play Off's the Last 3 Yr's..., only Mooped and Wimmered on the Sidelines.

I have to question the logic of getting rid of Jones to acquire Tomlinson.

Jones had much better stats than Tomlinson over the last two seasons and by all accounts was a team player (meaning no clubhouse or off the field problems).

I have been a Jets fan all of my life, but the Tomlinson move was not a positive one. Jones was better for the team and a better player. Getting rid of Jones was purely a financial move. Fortunately Tomlinson will not be the featured back, only part of a three-way rotation.

As someone who has watched both Cromartie and Tomlinson for the past 3 years, let me say that Cromartie is an idiot. He routinely takes plays off...cannot get off run blocks...and thinks he's a legend in his own mind. I'm glad he's gone and now is the Jets problems.

As for Tomlinson, while he is getting old...I still think he has a little in the tank with the right front line. And the Jets have a great front line. You will be surprised at how much Tomlinson will give this year to prove himself. And running behind that line, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him have a good season.
