    1966 TV BATCAVE Displayset!

This one took quite a while, between other projects, but it's FINALLY complete! The basic set-up is the same as my Comic Book Batcave (Batcave Displayset) ...

It's 2 normal-sized playsets strapped together into one GIGUNDA carry-case:

After you unfasten the binding straps on both sides, you lay it down sideways:

    Both halves separate:

Fold down the big doors to reveal the Batpoles at one end (along with Bat-Diamond power source and Service Elevator for Alfred):

And the Batmobile exit at the other end (along with Emergency Bat Tunnel to Highway One and Anti-Crime Voice Analyzer and Hypermetric Lie Detector):

Attach the 3-paneled portion (Wireless Bat-Transmitter, Atomic Pile, Voice Control batmobile Relay Circuit) linking both sections together:

Bat Computer section (along with weird green thing and global clocks) attaches to Batpole section:

Backside of panel shows Hyper-Spectrographic Analyzer and Criminal Database, and weird cone machine and Crime Analyzer:

Batscanner Receiver, Navigational Computer, Batlab with Bat Research Shelf attaches to Batmobile Exit portion (couple of "Easter Eggs" in the Batlab):

Backside of panel shows Homing T&R with Batphone (looks like Alfred dropped off a Bat-Snack for Master Bruce) and Anti-Crime Computer and Electronic Translator:

    Everything assembled and open:

    Exterior Batmobile exit:

False front fold down to reveal.....:

    The Batmobile!:

Everything was lifted right from MULTIPLE viewings of episodes from the '66 TV series. There was obviously tons more to include, but alas I had to keep my sanity. What's cool about 11 panels is that they are interchangeable, so you can add different images or swap around the configuration of where things go...just like the TV show where nothing was ever in the same place and different pieces of equipment were relabelled as to their functions depending on what was needed.

Oh WOW! With my love of the 60s series, you KNOW I love this set! Bat-tastic work, Anthony! And I love the secret Batmobile exit! Sadly, I don't have the space for this, or I would SO order one! WTG!
