    Trek Shirts

    I previously mentioned that I was working on trek shirts using fabric and colors closer to those used on screen.

    Here's my first fully realized shirt:

    Gold velour, with wavy rick rack. The collar is velvet ribbon cut cleanly and secured from unraveling with Fray Block. The emblem is gold/black fabric cut into a triangle, secured from unraveling with Fray Block, further cut into proper shape and glued into place. I used one snap at the collar, but the fabric has no give so I had to use velcro to secure it at the back waist.

        Also working on security belts...not sure how to affix communicator and phaser to this....ideas?

            That is a super cool idea! Actually, I've been meaning to drill the feet of my figures and place magnets in there so they can stand properly for photoshoots.

              I think I'll sacrifice an EMCE utility belt and affix the holsters to the leather...see how it looks.
