I dunno where Marvel & DC get off challanging Filmation over these characters. These are one time releases anyway. It's not like they are making new episodes of Web Woman. She barely resembles Spider-woman. Just because Super-stretch can stretch like Mr. Fantastic doesn't give them any right to grumble about the cartoons.
"The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow...How did it come to this?"
What he said about the Super 7 is bad enough but not surprising. What really bums me out is that because of the Disney ownership, Filmation's version of Tarzan will probably NEVER get released. While it's great to have the New Adventures of Batman, the Space Sentinels, and the Freedom Force on DVD, I wish Tarzan would be released to complete some sets. Especially since the Lone Ranger and Zorro are up for future release.
I guess that's what the stink of legalities is all about. Go figure.
Cheers.
It's odd what I've seen in brick and mortar stores, and what's been absent. I've only seen the Filmation Superman and Batman sets at Target. None at Wal-Mart. Yet Wal-Mart here is carrying Jason of Star Command? That's far more obscure. This same Wal-Mart does have the new Super Friends set.
The future doesn't sound good for the future of Filmation DVD beyond what he mentioned. I hope they all make it out!

i hope filmation makes it and wish dc and marvel could get together and have a cool line of toys that are mego-like like the emcee star trek figures.
