Mr Action really had brand idenity and fit Gijoe very well. Who else but LJN would put wheels on a training tower? I also like the cardboard backdrops which were great for rainy days when you were stuck inside.

Favorite hands down LJN uniform is 1st Racecar driver seen here:
I really like the STP oil sticker it came with it.

The Action Outfits Campus Casual set with then controversial Peace sign on chest was another fave for us kids. Man did it tick some people off during Viet Nam. Gijoe was already a dang hippie with his beard and long hair. More Mr Action pics!

                80 VINTAGE MISTER
tACTION GI JOE CLONE ACCESSORIES - eBay (item 380216389290 end time Apr-16-10 20:04:06 PDT)

this 40 piece sets contains the orginal M1 rifle, helmets, Grenades, Bayonete used in the first issues sets.

early sets used a hard plastic M1 Carbine and later a soft plastic carbine.
HP M1 carbine is almost always found with the barrel broken off.
If you want I split the price for these with you.

I definately have some of these pieces in a lot I bought on ebay. I have the silver fire suit head piece for sure and about 40-50 pieces of clothing and weapons which I assumed was GI Joe. It was mixed with AJ stuff in a hidden auction which is what I bought it for.

In my opinion from a business side I can't view this doing enough in sales to do a production run. The only way would be if you could mix in a number of sales routes, say Action Jackson, Mr Action, perhaps some offbeat stuff like the Super Joe line and try to cross a number of lines to draw in the amount of buyers you would need to get it done and not fail financially. Basically associate it with a bunch of different collectibles lines while keeping it in the same basic 1/9th scale format. Not sure where the AJ license sits after the PM fiasco but I'm sure someone here has the inside on it. As bad as that figure was they were all sold out of the KB's I was in and you don't see tons of em around so I don't think the ebay resellers holding em so someone bought em. They were well worth the price they were selling at at the end. I think I got my last ones for $1.99 a piece. I definately think you need to keep the price around $14.95. I think this $18-$20 retail is gonna kill the resurgence the way the $7-$9 retail on 3 3/4 figures seems to have slowed that down. I believe the overblown retail prices are what keeps the lines from experiencing longevity.

Yeah, they are from 74-78 and these books showcase most of the major toy manufacturers. Every single one of them has a KO joe of some sort. BARTER has 3-5 page spreads in all of them, so it'll take me some time as these are also tabloid sized brochures.
