Thread: Bait and Switch, or Just Downright Dishonest?

Nothing will happen to an ebayer who does this if nobody submits a dispute.

I had a problem recently on ebay with a seller who was selling magnetic batman and robin and never delivered the figures. Then he closed his account and relisted them under another userid. Of course, I cancelled payment on paypal and credit card, and then submitted the dispute. Ebay communicated with me thoroughly about it, and though they can't disclose the private details, they now have that guy and his wife on their radar.

I just reported it throught the power seller portal for misleading title. Lets see if they yank it. Usually take about 24-48 hours though.

I just reported it for the same thing. We'll see what happens. I was trying to think what would be better, "misleading title" or "keyword spamming". The latter would be valid to, as people searching for the other figures would come up with this auction, but none of those other figures are even included.

Auctions like this really bug me. What a scumbag. Hoping to screw someone by selling them a naked Uhura for $28 shipped is pretty pathetic.

Actually John I think this one might have a chance, just due to the fact that he has the pics of the other figures in the auction as well as there names in the title and aren't included
