    Rug Hooking Rocked!

Thanks to Mr Hurst's 3rd grade art class, I got into making latch rugs as a kid. For about ten minutes, somewhere in a landfill is a half done Superman logo (inspired by the movie) that I just bored with once nice weather arrived. I did finish a snoopy skating on a field of green though (they were out of blue).

My cousin had a Mickey Mouse rug he used for his room.

Not surprisingly, the SS Muppets translated pretty well.

My sister did a lion like this for school. Well, she started it, and my mom finished it. It sill hangs on the inside door of her old closet at my Dad's house!

What was with all the yarn and string art in the 70's? We were really kind of craft-y back in the day.
